Structure of the esp

The esp consists of the following members:

• esp Chair- Jeff Moore

• esp Director - Steve Hunt

• esp Executive Group - The esp Executive Group is responsible for aligning funding, managing actions on the four priorities, keeping track of progress through the Healthy Labour Market Indicators, and monitoring customer satisfaction and Strategic Added Value.

      Membership: one representative from each of the partner organisations, plus the esp 

      Chair and the esp Director.

• East Midlands Strategic Intelligence Partnership (EMSIP) - EMSIP was established to support the strategic decision-making of the esp Partnership, through providing a robust evidence base; partners jointly plan and fund research on employment and skills, and meet regularly to communicate findings.

     Research commissioned by partner organisations is published on

     the Intelligence East Midlands (IEM) website, which covers such topics as:

1. Labour Market Research

2. Skills-related Research

3. Regional Economic Strategy (RES) Evidence Base

4. About the Region - statistics and publications broken down by area

     Membership: esp partner organisations, Office for Nationsl Statistics (ONS), IEM, the Equality

     and Human Rights Commission (EHRC)
