Stakeholder Consultation on a regional Framework for the European Social Fund 2007-2013

 

The East Midlands has been allocated 248 million Euros for the European Social Fund (ESF) programme 2007-2013.

 

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is responsible for developing the new ESF programme and has submitted a national Operational Programme to the European Commission.  Regional Skills Partnerships have been commissioned to develop Regional ESF Frameworks setting out how ESF will address regional skills and employment priorities.  In the East Midlands region the Employment, Skills and Productivity Partnership (esp) has developed a draft Regional ESF Framework in consultation with partners, which was published for consultation on 4 May 2007.
