Jeff Moore joined
emda as the Finance Director in July 1999, being promoted to Chief Executive in February 2005 after roles in Finance, Inward Investment and Tourism, as well as two years as Deputy Chief Executive.
Jeff has always lived, worked and studied in the East Midlands. He is a qualified accountant and graduated in law at Nottingham Trent University.
He trained and qualified as a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy within local government, becoming Director of Finance for Broxtowe Borough Council in 1989.
Jeff has a number of other roles: he is Chairman of the Investment Advisory Committee of the East Midlands Regional Venture Capital Fund, a trustee of the National Space Science Centre, a Board Member of Derby Cityscape (URC) and Nottingham Regeneration Limited, and Chairman of the Blueprint Board (property regeneration partnership). Furthermore, Jeff is a member of the London 2012 Nations and Regions Group, and of the East Midlands Council of the Prince’s Trust.
